Valentine's Day gourmet baskets are common in most supermarkets and gift shops as Valentine's Day approaches and are often sold next to displays of Valentine's candy.

Things like candy and desserts are common, but in keeping with the tradition of the holiday, Valentine's Day gourmet baskets almost always include chocolates. Some baskets are exclusively composed of chocolates, while others include snacks and candy.
